The Broker - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
